For the software to work as intended, the device has to meet these criteria:<\/p><ol><li>Device has to be reset to <a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-za\/guide\/iphone\/iph7a2a9399b\/ios\">factory default settings<\/a>.\u00a0<\/li><li>Any iCloud accounts linked to the device has to be <a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-us\/HT208242\">removed or signed out<\/a>.<br \/><br \/><\/li><\/ol><p>The above-mentioned is not only to protect your personal data, but it is to ensure that we are able to complete your assessment\/repair as quickly and efficiently as possible. We recommend <a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-us\/HT203977\">backing up<\/a>\u00a0your data via iTunes or iCloud before resetting the device to factory settings, and signing out of any iCloud accounts that are linked to the device.
